commitment to excellence
The NDOC Team
The team has an impressive background, having served in HM Forces and accumulated over 50 years of experience through multiple operational tours around the world. This extensive military background not only honed their skills but also instilled a strong work ethic that laid the foundation for their future successes. In addition, NDOC have highly qualified EX Senior DVSA Examiners, who began their careers in the world of Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) in the late 1980s, taking on roles as Driving Instructors. With a shared passion for teaching and a commitment to road safety, they quickly honed their skills and gained valuable experience. By the early 1990s, several were appointed as ADI Trainers with BSM, where they played key roles in mentoring and educating new instructors, helping them uphold the highest standards of teaching.
Following their time at BSM, many transitioned to the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), now known as the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). Initially appointed as Driving Examiners, they were responsible for assessing candidates’ driving skills to ensure road safety. Their expertise was soon recognised, leading to roles as ADI Examiners, where they promoted client-centred learning and coaching techniques, tailoring instruction to individual learners to enhance the effectiveness of driver education.
Extensive knowledge & Experience
In addition to their roles as Driving and ADI Examiners, several expanded their qualifications by becoming ORDIT Examiners—positions requiring a deep understanding of training and assessment within the driver education sector. Some also served as ADI Enforcement Examiners, overseeing industry compliance and maintaining high professional standards.
Proven. Practical. Professional
Extensive knowledge & Experience
Since retiring from full-time roles, many continue to contribute to the profession as ADI consultants for the National Driver ORDIT Centre. In these capacities, they help maintain operational standards and ensure alignment with best practices in driver training.
Their extensive experience and enduring dedication continue to influence the future of driver instruction across the UK.
